Strength endurance and conditioning in one circuit-style session

One circuit-style session covering both. Strength work with dumbbells, barbells, plates and bodyweight, paired with conditioning across skipping, erg machines, plyometrics and bodyweight movements. Every exercise has a progression and a regression, so it is scaled to your level.

Strength Endurance

Mostly dumbbells, with some barbell work, plates and bodyweight. Squat, hinge, push, pull and carry patterns every week.

Conditioning

Skipping, erg machines, plyometrics and bodyweight circuits to build an engine that keeps up with your life.

Scaled to you

Every exercise has a progression and a regression, so beginners and experienced lifters train side by side at the right level.

FAQ

Straight answers

Do I need to be a gym member?
Yes. Sessions run inside Derrimut 24:7 Gym, Pakenham, so you need an active membership to get through the door. Coaching is charged separately from your membership.
Is the first session really free?
Yes, one free session per person, no card required. Book it from the timetable after you finish the screening form.
What is the pre-exercise screening?
It is the AUSactive Adult Pre-Exercise Screening System, the industry standard in Australia. Seven yes/no questions plus an emergency contact. If you answer yes to any question you will need a quick clearance from your GP before training, which protects you and keeps us compliant.
What if I need to cancel?
Cancel more than 12 hours before the session and your credit goes straight back. Inside that window the credit is used, because the spot is hard to fill at short notice.
What if a session is full?
Groups are capped at 6. If a session is full you can join the waitlist and you will be moved in automatically if someone cancels.
Do credits expire?
No. Use them whenever suits you.
What days and times do sessions run?
Sessions currently run at 9:30am on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. I am trialling these days and times to start with, and more will be added if demand indicates it, so let me know what would suit you.
What does a session look like?
A 45-minute circuit combining strength endurance and conditioning. Strength work is mostly dumbbells with some barbell, plate and bodyweight exercises. Conditioning ranges across skipping, erg machines, plyometrics and bodyweight movements. You rotate through stations with the group while being coached on technique.
I am a total beginner. Is this for me?
Yes. Every exercise has a progression and a regression, so it is scaled to your level on the day. The group is small enough that you get coached on every set, and plenty of members join having never followed a structured program before.
I already train regularly. Will I be held back?
No. The same session can be loaded up with heavier dumbbells, harder plyometric variations or faster erg intervals. You train at your level alongside people training at theirs.
